Timeline for Special Short Courses

Application Deadline February 27 2026

The application will be open until February 27 2025. To apply, complete the online application form by clicking on the “Apply Now” button above.

Logical Test & Interview Selection Announcement March 2026

After the application deadline, we will select candidates for interviews. The interview list will be announced in March 2026

For shortlisted applicants have to take the logical test before the interview session
If the candidates pass the logical test they can get to the interview session.

Applying for the Short Courses Full-Time Scholarship Program(February 2026)

All applicants have to submit the application form by February 27

Submit Application: Complete the online application form.

Application Shortlisting: Applications are reviewed and shortlisted.

Logical Test: Take the Logical Test.

Interview Session: Only those who pass the logical test will proceed to the interview.

Final Candidate Selection: Candidates are selected after evaluation from the interview.

When does the class start?

The next school is starting February 2026. Stay tuned and follow our Facebook page and Telegram Channel.

How many terms per year?

These short courses will operate from time to time, accordingly.

Is there any entry exam?

There will be an entry exam and interview.

How many subjects for the entry test?

There are English and Logical Tests.

Will the entry test be taken online or in school?

The Entry Test will be held in school.

Is there an age limit for those who want to join?

Anyone from 18 years of age or older can register.

Have to pay for school fees?

This is the full scholarship program, students do not need to pay for school fees for this batch.

Need any requirements or background knowledge on coding?

There is no requirement for prior coding skills or knowledge.

Any exception for a student to attend a month later than others?

Because our program is very short and students have to work in a group, so there is no exception for students who start late.

Can foreigners(non-Cambodian) register?

Above & Beyond School is a Social Enterprise whose goal is to develop Cambodian human resources, so this is open only to Cambodian nationals.

Can I study if my English is not good?

We do not require a high level of English, you just need to be able to understand English for basic communication and at least an online course in English.

Can we choose the program or subject?

There are 2 different courses that you can choose.

What program does the school offer?

The school is offering a program that would train student to become backend and frontend developers.

How many hours to study a day?

The course requires students to study full time (8:00am to 5:00pm, but it is still open to students longer than we require since the course is based on self-learning.

How long will it take to finish a course?

– Front-End Development : 3 months

– Back-End Development: 3 and a half months

Is there a part-time class or a weekend class?

There is no part-time or weekend class for now.

Will there be any certificate after graduation?

Yes, there will be a certificate after graduation.

Is the certificate certified by the Cambodian Government?

The certificate is recognized by the Cambodian government.

Can I study online from home or do I need to go to school?

Every student has to be at school for studying and group work.

Do they need to learn in a group with the people who choose the same skill?

Everyone will study the same course.

Are there any school trips during study?

A Short trip might be have.

Will there be any community activities or social work during the school year?

For community service, it will be arranged accordingly.

Can the student already graduated from Above and Beyond School join the next program?

The chance should be given to new candidates. However, if you passed the Front-End Program, you can continute to Back-End Program or vice versa.

Can a student get a job after graduation?

This is our main goal to help the student to have a career after graduating from Above and Beyond school.

Are there any sports activities?

There will be sports activities.

Will the school provide lunch?

Learners are responsible for obtaining their own lunch. Lunch would be provided on any special occasions.

Will the school provide accommodations?

The school has prepared resting areas and sleeping facilities for students, intended for temporary and necessary use to ensure their safety and well-being.”
